Stamford Music & Arts Master Training
SMAA Advanced Master Training Program offers highly-motivated music students in all grades a comprehensive and unique course of study. Each week, AMT Program students have one or two 60-minute private lessons, one theory and ear training class, one 45 min technique session and an ensemble lesson. In addition, students participate in master classes and competitions. AMT Program students are required to fully participate in all master classes, workshops and specialized seminars, and to represent the program through public recitals and performances. Students in the AMT Program meet on a regular basis with SMAA director to discuss their instrumental progress and music-learning accomplishments. Scholarship opportunities are offered as well as tutoring assistance. Each student is evaluated mid-year and again at the end of the school year to assess progress and achievements.
